About Us

We love sports and we love to have a good time.  We started by going to football games to tailgate.  We’d bring a BBQ and refreshments and set up in the parking lot.  The Dean of the University noticed us and thought we were doing a great job raising school spirit.  He would give the people in our party free tickets to the game, the ones who didn’t already have them that is.  Despite the Dean's approval, we found out through trial that we were not allowed to drink said, "refreshments" in the parking lot.

Now we were very rowdy fans, we painted our faces with our school colors, and would cheer as loud as we could.  It didn’t take long for a few girls from the University of Ottawa promo team to notice us.  They gave us the idea to have the tailgate parties at our house (now officially “The Stable”), sell t-shirts with the infamous “Hung Like a GeeGee” logo so everyone could feel a part of the group, and then have buses drive us to the games.  This was a huge hit with our friends and it later turned into a University Sanctioned club.

We now try our best to give students an opportunity to meet each other in a safe environment, have a good time, raise their school spirit and blow off some steam by cheering for their University teams on the gridiron, court, or ice.
